At a glance, the LU84R012 Combination Saw Blade with Perma-SHIELD is ideal for crosscutting materials 3/4 to 3-1/2 inches thick and ripping materials 3/8 to 1-1/2 inches thick. It has a heavy-duty plate with laser-cut, anti-vibration slots and a tough Perma-SHIELD coating that reduces friction and heat buildup.
Technically, the blade has a 12-inch diameter, 60 teeth, and a 1-inch arbor. It produces a 0.126 kerf. The large gullets between the teeth allow for fast ripping and easy chip removal, while the laser-cut anti-vibration slots drastically reduce vibration and sideways movement in the cut. This extends the blade's life and provides a crisp, swirl-free, flawless finish.
The combination tooth design, with one flat-top raker tooth followed by four alternating-top-bevel (ATB) teeth, offers versatility and accuracy. This configuration is well-suited for both ripping and crosscutting. The premium TiCo high-density carbide "combination blend" tips help the blade maintain a sharp cutting edge for longer, saving time and money.
